In this full-time, 10-month non-tenure track role, you will teach and mentor students pursuing a CTRS credential. You will contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation in a School of Rehabilitation Sciences that emphasizes interprofessional learning. You’ll support student success through advising, service, and a strong clinical-learning environment. This position offers the chance to influence undergraduate education in Recreational Therapy and collaborate across health disciplines.

Responsabilités

  • Teach undergraduate recreational therapy courses and related topics
  • Advise and mentor students pursuing a BS in Recreational Therapy
  • Engage in curriculum development and program evaluation
  • Provide service to the School, College, University, and profession
  • Contribute to a strong academic and clinical learning environment
  • Collaborate with faculty across disciplines in interprofessional initiatives

Principales exigences

  • Master's degree in Recreational Therapy or Therapeutic Recreation OR Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or Therapeutic Recreation and Master's in a Related Field by July 25, 2026
  • Current CTRS certification in good standing with NCTRC
  • Minimum three years of related experience, including at least one year of direct service in recreational therapy by July 25, 2026
