As Second Assistant News Director at FOX5, KVVU, you join the dominant local news leader in Las Vegas to shape coverage on air and online. You will coach and grow a hybrid team of local and remote producers and executive producers, guiding newscast production and innovative storytelling. With 16 hours of daily local content, you drive quality, vision, and operational excellence. This role offers leadership across newsroom strategy and talent development in a fast-paced market.

Responsabilités

Execute coverage strategy for on-air and online platforms
Mentor and develop a team of local and remote producers and Executive Producers
Lead and model best practices in newscast production and storytelling
Drive innovative approaches and vision for content and workflow
Collaborate with leadership to optimize newsroom operations and coverage quality
Represent the newsroom in cross-functional leadership discussions

Principales exigences

Significant experience as Executive Producer, Assistant News Director, or News Director in a professional broadcast news outlet
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a newsroom team
Track record of outstanding newscast production, innovation, and executing a vision
